CERABIN CREAM

Ceramides make up 50% of the Skin Barrier

Ceramides are lipids (fats) that help form the skin’s barrier assisting it to retain moisture.

They make-up over 50% of the skin’s composition and helps protect the skin against environmental aggressors like irritants and pollution. Without the proper ratio of Ceramides, the skin’s barrier can become compromised leading to dryness, itching and irritation.

The reduction in Ceramides level also leads to loss of elasticity and increases roughness.

Ceramides help rejuvenate the skin by forming an effective barrier against moisture loss. It helps improve moisture regulation making the skin smoother and increasing its elasticity. More importantly, it offers long term protection and repairs sensitive and dry skin.

Dry skin is an uncomfortable condition marked by scaling, itching, redness and cracking. It is a common problem in all age groups and as we age, our skin becomes thinner and drier day-by-day. Thus, to maintain the optimal level of Ceramides and to repair dry skin, using a good moisturizer every day is of utmost importance.

And this is where the Cerabin Cream can help!

The Cerabin Cream is a wonderful moisturizer that helps to instantly and deeply hydrate the skin offering a lasting moisture reservoir. Enriched with the blend of Ceramide 111 B, Saccharide Isomerate & Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), this cream supports the renewal of the skin’s natural protective layer & forms an effective barrier against moisture loss.

The Saccharide Isomerate, in particular, is a highly effective moisture regulator that binds to the e-amino group of lysine in the keratin. Whereas, Shea butter acts as an instant, long-acting moisturizer that helps repair dry inflamed skin caused by dermatitis. It works as an emollient and has proven to be effective in healing Eczema, Psoriasis, Ichthyosis and Lichen Planus. It also has a sun-screen effect that helps to strongly absorb UV radiation. The best part, it’s anti-ageing properties assist in tissue cell regeneration and softening of the skin.
